UI Project
Led the design of a complex employee healthcare benefit enrollment platform. Through cross-functional collaboration, I created a user-friendly experience that simplified navigation ensuring a seamless enrollment process, and increased employee enrollment by 37%.
Challenge
Develop a mobile application that addresses the challenges of healthcare benefit enrollment by providing a clear, intuitive, and engaging user experience. The app breaks down complex information, simplifies choices, and guides employees through the enrollment process effortlessly.
Software Utilized
Process
The homepage
Developed a user-friendly homepage that allows employees to seamlessly navigate through to explore available virtual services and benefits.
Register for virtual services through provider apps
Designed interactive popup screens in Figma, showcasing virtual services employees can register for through the service provider's app.
Discover the Virtual Services
Enroll or waive the Voluntary and Ancillary benefits
Created engaging interactive popups in Figma and dynamic motion graphics in Premiere Pro and After Effects to help employees easily understand their healthcare benefits.
The benefit enrollment process
Worked closely with cross-functional departments to develop the Voluntary and Ancillary benefits enrollment process, enabling employees to input personal and contact information, add dependents, and enroll in or waive various benefits.
We're almost there!
Once benefits are selected, employees can review and adjust their choices before confirming. After submission, they're directed to a confirmation screen with options to print or download their personalized benefit summary.
Purchase a Major Medical Plan (ICHRA)
Created user-friendly popup screens that walk employees through the process of learning about, purchasing, and submitting documentation for automatic reimbursements via the My ICHRA Portal (we'll get there shortly).
Finally, the My ICHRA Portal
Collaborated with IT to create a seamless post-purchase experience. I designed an intuitive homepage using Figma to make it easy for employees to learn how to get started receiving their reimbursements.
Once an employee taps the "Begin" button, they are directed to the "Submit Proof of Insurance" form.
Upload Proof of Insurance
Employee uploads a photo or file of their Major Medical Plan receipt, signs the electronic Proof of Insurance Agreement, and taps "Submit" to complete the form.
You're finished!
If the Proof of Insurance is denied, the employee will receive an automatic email from their employer explaining the reason for the denial. If approved, the employee can look forward to automatic reimbursement payments from their employer.
